During the 58th United Nations Human Rights Council session, Baloch National Movement's Foreign Secretary, Faheem Baloch, condemned rampant human rights abuses in Balochistan, such as the detention of key activists Mahrang Baloch, Sammi Deen Baloch, and Bebo Baloch.
He spotlighted a grim incident in Quetta City, where 13 bodies were discovered, buried without family consent, and later found half-exposed. This led to a protest violently quelled by Pakistani security forces, resulting in fatalities and arrests of Baloch human rights defenders.
Families of detained activists express concern over their safety, urging global human rights entities to intervene. Baloch communities face ongoing marginalization despite natural resource abundance, with limited freedoms and significant international neglect.
