India's Ambassador to the United States, Vinay Kwatra, has justified the country's recent cross-border military strikes as a measured response to a devastating terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22. Speaking on Operation Sindoor, Kwatra underlined the operation's strategic focus on dismantling terrorist networks while avoiding military and economic targets.

Kwara criticized Pakistan, accusing it of siding with terrorists rather than taking action against them. In a CNN interview, he highlighted that the escalation originated on April 22, blaming Pakistan-backed terrorists for the brutal killings. India's retaliation targeted nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, ensuring no military or economic infrastructures were harmed.

Indian Armed Forces executed 'Operation Sindoor' with precision, aimed explicitly at terrorist infrastructure after the Pahalgam attack. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri reiterated India's response was controlled and precise, emphasizing that military targets were intentionally excluded. Misri pointed to Pakistan's historical ties with terrorism, citing the presence of globally sanctioned terrorists as evidence.
