Nepal Intensifies Search for 17 Missing Workers in Uttarakhand Flood

Nepal has launched a diplomatic appeal to India for help in locating 17 Nepali workers who vanished following a flood in Uttarakhand. The plea was announced by Nepali Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Friday.

Returning from Turkmenistan, Oli took to Facebook to extend his condolences for the lives and property lost in the flood and urged the Indian government to intensify their search for the missing Nepalis. Fifteen individuals are from Nepal's Jajrkot District, and four hail from Bardiya District, according to local authorities.
