United Nations Ambassador Evans Afedi attended the closing ceremony of the Sardar@150 Unity March, where he paid tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, famously known as the Iron Man of India for unifying 562 princely states to form a cohesive nation.
Ambassador Afedi lauded Sardar Patel as an inspirational figure, not just for India but globally. He addressed the youth, whose participation in the rally with chants of unity and demonstrations of Indian culture reinforced the idea of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'—One India, Great India.
The Unity March, orchestrated by India's Ministry of Sports, represents more than just a homage to Sardar Patel, portraying a vibrant tribute that invigorates patriotism among young Indians.
