Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to host French President Emmanuel Macron in Mumbai as the two leaders inaugurate the India-France Year of Innovation 2026. This initiative marks a significant step in enhancing strategic partnerships between the two nations, notably in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

President Macron's visit from February 16-19 underscores a deepening India-France collaboration across multiple domains, including defense, space, climate action, and education. During bilateral engagements at Lok Bhavan, Modi and Macron will review progress in these areas and exchange views on regional and global issues.

The visit also features the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, underscoring India's ambition to lead in AI development. Premier Modi will inaugurate the India AI Impact Expo 2026, while prominent global leaders and innovators gather to discuss an inclusive and responsible AI future.
