India's global influence has significantly increased under PM Narendra Modi, as depicted by the Ministry of External Affairs. In 12 years, Modi's leadership has bolstered 'Brand India', marked by initiatives in climate action and digital infrastructure, and earned international praise from global leaders.
In a recent statement, the Ministry of External Affairs lauded what it called a 'remarkable transformation' in India's foreign policy under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Having been in office for 12 years, Modi's leadership has expanded the nation's international influence and bolstered its global standing.
The Ministry highlighted various diplomatic initiatives spearheaded by Modi, including climate action collaborations like the International Solar Alliance and the international expansion of India's digital public infrastructure, such as the Unified Payments Interface (UPI). Modi's tenure also witnessed India becoming a key proponent for developing countries and a crucial responder during global crises. This transformation, according to the MEA, has significantly strengthened 'Brand India' globally.
Leaders worldwide have commended Modi's effective governance and influence, with many recognizing India’s socio-economic transformation under his leadership. Among them was Sri Lanka's President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Papua New Guinea's Prime Minister James Marape, both highlighting Modi's impactful role in elevating India on the world stage and his substantial achievements in poverty alleviation and infrastructure development.
