Prime Minister Modi Embarks on Strategic France Visit to Bolster Innovation and Partnerships
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit France, engaging in talks with President Macron to enhance bilateral cooperation. It aims to reinforce the India-France Special Global Strategic Partnership through innovation and technological exchanges.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to commence his visit to France on June 13, starting in Nice at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. The two leaders are expected to engage in extensive discussions focusing on bilateral relations and international issues, as reported by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
MEA's Additional Secretary for Europe West, Piyush Srivastava, highlighted the strong rapport between Modi and Macron, noting the historical warmth and trust characterizing their relationship. This marks Modi's seventh official visit to France, following Macron's visit to India earlier this year.
During the Nice leg, Prime Minister Modi and President Macron will cover a wide range of topics in their bilateral talks. They will also inaugurate Bharat Innovates, showcasing India's innovation landscape to the world. The visit concludes in Paris, where Modi will address the VivaTech Summit and interact with the Indian community.
