US President Donald Trump touched down in the scenic spa town of Évian-les-Bains, France, on Monday to participate in the 52nd G7 Summit. His arrival follows a significant diplomatic breakthrough: a peace deal with Iran that has shifted geopolitical dynamics in the Middle East.

The summit, hosted by France from June 15 to 17, convenes leaders from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, and the US. The European Union joins the diplomatic bloc, with talks expected to focus on global economic and security issues including the Iran peace deal.

Trump's attendance comes amid reports he desired the peace framework with Iran finalized just before meeting other leaders. The summit will also explore global governance, regional crises, and international cooperation with newly invited nations such as Brazil, India, and South Korea.
