Xiangshan Forum to be held in Beijing on September 15-17, China defence ministry says

​The ‌Beijing Xiangshan ​Forum — China's annual international ‌security meeting — is due to run from September ‌15 to 17, ‌China's defence ministry said on Thursday.

The ⁠forum, ​which ⁠includes a range of ⁠regional and Western representatives, will ​take place amid ⁠regional tensions over ⁠the disputed ​South China Sea and Taiwan.
