Pakistan thwarts attempted Afghan aggression at border, security sources say

​An ​attempted Afghan ‌aggression in the ​Gulistan sector of ‌the Pakistan-Afghan border was thwarted and several Afghan ‌members of the ‌Taliban were killed, Pakistani security sources said on ⁠Friday.

An ​intermittent ⁠exchange of fire between ⁠security forces and the ​Afghan Taliban is ongoing, ⁠and border security forces ⁠remain alert ​in the area, the sources ⁠told Reuters.
