Rubio says US open to closer military ties with Iceland

​Secretary ​of ‌State Marco ​Rubio said ‌on Tuesday the United States would be open ‌to closer ‌military cooperation with Iceland, citing growing concerns ⁠about ​security challenges ⁠in the High ⁠North.

Rubio said the ​threats facing the region ⁠were not ⁠limited ​to military risks but also ⁠included economic pressures.
