Category 3 Hurricane Isaias makes landfall near Destin, Florida, NHC says

​Category ​3 ‌Hurricane Isaias ​made landfall ‌near Destin, Florida, the US National ‌Hurricane Center said in ‌its latest advisory on Friday.

The ⁠hurricane, ​packing ⁠maximum sustained winds ⁠of 105 mph (165 ​kph), is about ⁠50 miles (80 km) ⁠west-northwest ​of Panama City, Florida, ⁠the center said.
