Guinness brewer Diageo keeps outlook after quarterly organic net sales edge higher

​Diageo's ​quarterly organic ‌net sales edged ​up 0.6% on ‌Thursday, excluding the impact of its sale of East ‌African Breweries, and ‌the top spirits maker kept its organic net ⁠sales ​outlook ⁠broadly flat for the year.

Analysts ⁠had expected the ​Johnnie Walker whisky and ⁠Guinness beer maker to post ⁠a ​0.4% decline in organic net ⁠sales for the three months ⁠ended ⁠September 30.
