France's Macron announce IT cuts worth $5.57B

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday that further cuts in income tax could be worth about 5 billion euros ($5.57 billion).

Macron flagged the additional tax cuts as he outlined his response to months of anti-government protests in the first press conference of his presidency at the Elysee Palace.
