Earthquake of 6.2 magnitude jolts Panama

A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck 30 miles (48 km) northwest of Panama's coastal city of David on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The quake occurred at a depth of about 12 miles (19 km), USGS said. (Reporting by Lisa Shumaker; Editing by Peter Cooney)
