The far-right Freedom Party (FPO) will back a no-confidence vote in parliament against Chancellor Sebastian Kurz's government, two of its lawmakers said on Monday, in all probability sealing Kurz's fate.

The opposition Social Democrats plan to submit the motion against the government on Monday and the FPO's backing would give it majority support. Walter Rauch and David Lasar said FPO lawmakers agreed unanimously in a meeting on Monday morning to vote in favour of the motion.
