Russia signs $1 bln deal with Cuba to modernise its railways - Ifax

Russia has signed a deal with Cuba to modernise its railways worth almost $1 billion dollars, Interfax news agency reported citing Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov as saying to Russia's state TV Rossiya 24.

The agreement had been reached at St Petersburg economic forum, he said. (Reporting by Maria Tsvetkova)
