Japan expresses concerns to China about territorial waters, Hong Kong -Jiji

Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi has expressed concerns to his Chinese counterpart about territorial waters in the East China Sea, as well as the situation in Hong Kong and China's treatment of its Uigur minority, Jiji news agency said on Monday.

China claims a group of uninhabited Japan-controlled islets, called the Senakaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China. The issue has plagued bilateral relations for years.
