The Haryana Police on Friday said they have arrested one more accused from Delhi in connection with the police constable recruitment paper leak last month.

The accused carried a reward of Rs 2 lakh on his head, a police spokesperson said here.

''The arrested person, who is another key accused of the case, has been identified as Mohammad Afzal Dar, a resident of Naseem Bagh, Hazratbal, Srinagar,'' he said.

Dar was caught near the Delhi airport after a tip-off was received about his location, he added.

So far, 40 accused have been arrested in connection with the paper leak case, the spokesperson said.

Seven criminal cases were registered in connection with the paper leak incident. Two of them were lodged in Kaithal, one each in Fatehabad and Hisar, and three in Karnal.

Amid reports of the leak, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission had last month cancelled the written examination for the recruitment of police constables.
