BRS leader K Kavitha on Thursday challenged the opposition parties in Telangana to visit any household and see for themselves if people have benefited from the state government's welfare schemes.

During a visit to her constituency Nizamabad, she slammed the opposition for accusing the BRS government in the state of not doing enough for the people.

Kavitha asserted that there was no household in Telangana which was not benefiting from the schemes introduced by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, a release said.

The BRS MLC further said the schemes envisioned and implemented by the CM are being emulated by other states. The Centre's Amrit Sarovar is a copy of the state government's Mission Kakatiya' (rejuvenation of water bodies), while the Centre's 'Har Ghar Jal' is a copy of Telangana's Mission Bhagiratha (supplying safe and sustainable piped drinking water supply).
