Russian envoy says there are no grounds to extend grain deal - RIA

Russia's Ambassador to Turkey said on Friday that Moscow continues consultations with the United Nations on the Black Sea grain deal but that there are no grounds to extend it, the RIA news agency reported.

The deal was originally brokered by Turkey and the United Nations last July to allow Ukraine to resume exports of grain from its southern ports. It will expire next month if Russia objects to its renewal.
