Germans in Gaza informed about possible exit - foreign ministry

Germany has informed its citizens in the Gaza Strip about the possibility of leaving the besieged enclave via the Rafah border crossing with Egypt, a spokesperson for the foreign ministry said in Berlin on Wednesday.

They would be brought to Cairo initially, the spokesperson told reporters, adding that there had been no concrete indications so far of German citizens leaving.
