An advisor to Iraq's prime minister, Fadi Al-Shammari, warned on Friday the West is expanding the conflict between Israel and Hamas and increasing tensions in the region, the state news agency (INA) reported.
His comments came after the United States and Britain launched strikes from the air and sea against Houthi military targets in Yemen in response to the movement's attacks on ships in the Red Sea in protest over Israel's bombardment of Gaza.
