China's military sent out dozens of fighter jets carrying live missiles and conducted mock strikes in targeted areas in its Taiwan military drill, Chinese state television CCTV quoted a military spokesperson saying on Thursday.
The mock strikes targeted high value military targets, ships and warplanes of the "enemy" and was in coordination with naval ships and missile forces, spokesperson for the People's Liberation Army's Eastern Theater Command Naval Colonel Li Xi said.
