In a high-level meeting with senior Home Department officials, Sharma directed departments to coordinate efforts in combating illegal mining, crimes against women, and cow smuggling.

He emphasized that robust actions by the police against illegal activities can deter more serious crimes. The chief minister instructed officials to collaborate with neighboring states for a joint campaign targeting interstate criminals and stressed that strong law and order conditions are pivotal for investment and development in the state.

Sharma assured that the state government would honor police officers exhibiting exemplary performance, while strict actions would be taken against corrupt or negligent officers. The BJP government remains committed to eradicating organized crime, land mafia, and drug smuggling to ensure a secure environment conducive to growth.
