Municipal Chief Officer's Reckless SUV Crash Sparks Investigation

An SUV allegedly driven by N K Patil, the chief officer of a municipal council in Pune district, collided with two parked vehicles in Talegaon Dabhade on Saturday. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, according to the police.

The incident took place in Talegaon Dabhade, approximately 38 km from Pune city. Patil, who was reportedly at the wheel, has been sent for a medical examination to determine if he was under the influence of alcohol.

'The chief officer drove his SUV recklessly and negligently, damaging two roadside parked vehicles,' a Talegaon Dabhade police station officer stated. A complaint has been filed by one of the vehicle owners, and the investigation is ongoing.
