A woman constable tragically lost her life after falling from a moving train at the Roja railway station in Shahjahanpur. The incident occurred as she attempted to alight from the Moradabad-Amritsar Superfast train, police officials reported on Sunday.

Kiran Katiyar, 27, was returning to Shahjahanpur from Moradabad, where she had gone to submit a viscera sample. According to Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Meena, the incident took place when Katiyar tried to get off the moving train, resulting in her fatal fall between the train and the platform.

Despite immediate medical intervention, Katiyar was pronounced dead upon arrival at a medical college. She was a resident of Bilhaur village in Kanpur and was posted at Chowk police station.
