A 35-year-old man, named Arun, allegedly took his own life in Faridabad's Nawada village following a WhatsApp conversation with a Pakistan-based contact, police reported on Saturday.

The tragic incident happened between Friday and Saturday. Arun's younger brother, Anuj, filed a complaint leading to the registration of an FIR. When Arun's mother entered his room at around 4:30 AM on Saturday, she discovered him lying dead on the floor with a noose around his neck.

The investigation revealed that Arun had been chatting on WhatsApp with a Pakistan phone number and was being instigated to commit suicide by hanging. Authorities have registered a case under Section 306 (abetment to suicide) of the Indian Penal Code.
