Tragic Electrocution in Restaurant Sewer Tank: Three Lives Lost

Three individuals were electrocuted while performing plumbing work in a restaurant's sewer tank. In a tragic incident, three individuals lost their lives due to electrocution while conducting plumbing work in a sewer tank at a local restaurant, police reported on Sunday.

The incident occurred on Saturday when Amit Gupta, 28, Prince Gupta, 21, and one unidentified person descended into the sewer tank. They were retrieved only after the power supply was disconnected and were immediately rushed to a hospital where they were declared dead.

District Magistrate Shailendra Kumar has initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Initial reports point towards electrocution, but the exact cause of death will be confirmed following postmortem examinations.

Financial aid will be provided to the victims' families as per regulations. Meanwhile, laborers at the site claimed that the restaurant owners had failed to adhere to safety protocols.
