Germany and Denmark Unite for Robust Military Cooperation

Germany and Denmark have signed a letter of intent to enhance their military cooperation, aiming to align defense procurement in response to a perceived increasing threat from Russia. Denmark is contributing 125 million euros to support Germany's initiative to supply Ukraine with critical air defenses.

Germany and Denmark on Thursday signed a letter of intent to strengthen their military cooperation, as both countries consider further aligning their defence procurement in the face of what they perceive as an increasingly hostile Russia.

The neighbours, both straddling the North and the Baltic Seas, have been working closely together in the Baltic Sea, and Denmark is supporting with 125 million euros Germany's immediate action initiative to supply Ukraine with desperately needed air defences.
