Bengaluru Court Extends Police Custody of Actor Darshan in Renukaswamy Murder Case

A Bengaluru court on Thursday extended police custody of actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and three other accused in the Renukaswamy murder case by two days. Thirteen other accused, including the actor's friend Pavithra Gowda, were remanded to 14 days’ judicial custody. A total of 17 people are accused in the case.

In a significant development, a Bengaluru court has extended the police custody of actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and three other suspects in the high-profile Renukaswamy murder case by two days.

Thirteen other individuals, including the actor's associate Pavithra Gowda, have been remanded to judicial custody for a duration of 14 days.

Renukaswamy's body was found near a storm-water drain in Sumanahalli, raising questions about the actor's involvement in the alleged homicide following inappropriate messages sent to Gowda.
