A domestic worker has been arrested for kidnapping her employer's son and stealing gold and cash worth lakhs from his residence in west Delhi's Uttam Nagar, according to police reports on Thursday.
The accused, identified as Madhu Saini (40) from Sadar Bazar, allegedly used her own 14-year-old son to befriend and kidnap the victim. The incident was reported on June 16 by the victim's father, Rakesh Kumar.
Police investigations led to the rescue of the kidnapped child from Bareilly and the arrest of Saini. Authorities recovered a mobile phone purchased with stolen money. Further details are still under investigation, stated Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Ankit Singh.
