The incident took place when the girl went to the shop to buy biscuits on Tuesday evening. The man allegedly lured her inside and inappropriately touched her. She managed to escape and informed her mother, who confronted the employee and filed a police complaint.

The police have filed a case under the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, leading to the man's arrest, officials confirmed.
