The voter cards were discovered by passersby near Pisavli Gate on the Shil-Kalyan road on Thursday, prompting a complaint from election officials.

Manpada police in Dombivli registered a case on Friday concerning theft and other charges under the IPC and the Representation of the People Act. The probe aims to determine the source of the stolen IDs and identify those responsible for the crime, officials added.
