Police Nab Notorious Robbers After High-Stakes Chase

Two notorious robbers who posed a public threat have been arrested after a policeman opened fire when they resisted arrest. Accused, Masood Ur Rahman and Fazal Ur Rahman, were involved in multiple thefts, brandishing weapons, and evading police until their capture.

Two notorious robbers, who posed a public threat and prompted a police officer to open fire two days ago, were arrested on Sunday, the police confirmed.

Masood Ur Rahman, identified as the primary offender, has a history of criminal activities and worked as a welder and cab driver. According to a police release, he visited his aunt’s residence in Musheerabad, where he roped in Fazal Ur Rahman, the second accused, to commit a series of robberies.

The duo, armed with daggers, embarked on a crime spree that began with stealing a scooter and culminated in a phone robbery attempt at Secunderabad. Their actions prompted an Anti-Snatching team chase, during which a constable fired at their getaway vehicle, hitting Masood’s leg. Despite being wounded, the suspects managed to flee but were apprehended within 48 hours by specialized investigation teams.
