IAF Chief Highlights Security Challenges, Calls for Modernisation

In a keynote address at a recent seminar, IAF Chief Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari underscored the 'multi-faceted challenges' of contemporary security landscapes, ranging from border disputes and terrorism to cyber threats and regional volatility.

Chaudhari stressed the importance of modernizing India's armed forces to navigate these turbulent times. He highlighted that modern warfare's rapid technological advancements require a deeper understanding of geopolitical, social, and cultural contexts.

The seminar, hosted by the Indian Air Force (IAF), College of Air Warfare (CAW), and Centre for Air Power Studies (CAPS), aimed to refine the concept of 'scholar warriors'—military professionals adept in both combat and intellectual acumen.
