Navi Mumbai Police Busts Fake Call Center in Indore, Arrests Key Accused

In a significant breakthrough, the Navi Mumbai police have dismantled a fake call center operating from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, arresting a 27-year-old man, an official announced on Tuesday. This marks the ninth arrest connected to an online share trading fraud case.
Officials from the Electronic Monitoring Cell (EMC) of the Panvel police’s cyber cell led the operation, bringing the total number of arrests to nine after earlier detaining eight individuals.
Inspector Deepali Patil from the EMC cyber cell confirmed the latest arrest of Yash Umbrakar. The raid resulted in the seizure of critical equipment, including ten desktops, 10 CPUs, and two routers. Despite attempts by the accused to erase digital evidence, efforts are underway to recover the deleted data.
