Justice Bidyut Ranjan Sarangi Sworn in as 15th Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court

Justice Bidyut Ranjan Sarangi took oath as the 15th chief justice of the Jharkhand High Court, succeeding Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra. His appointment was officiated by Governor C P Radhakrishnan at Raj Bhavan. Sarangi, previously a judge at Orissa High Court, has an extensive background in various legal fields.

Justice Bidyut Ranjan Sarangi was sworn in as the 15th chief justice of the Jharkhand High Court on Friday, filling the vacancy left by the superannuation of Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra.

The oath of office was administered by Governor C P Radhakrishnan at an event held at the Raj Bhavan, attended by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato, and several judges and senior government officials.

Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel read out the warrant of appointment issued by President Droupadi Murmu. Sarangi, a distinguished legal professional with experience in civil, criminal, and constitutional law, was previously a judge at the Orissa High Court.
