Sheena Bora Case: Untraceable Skeleton Parts Found at CBI Office

The prosecution informed a trial court that parts of Sheena Bora's skeleton, previously declared untraceable, were found at the CBI's New Delhi office. Bora was allegedly murdered by her mother, Indrani Mukerjea, in 2012. The revelation followed an email alleging the bones were in possession of a forensic expert.

Parts of Sheena Bora's skeleton, previously reported as missing, have been located at the CBI's New Delhi office, the prosecution revealed to the trial court on Wednesday.

Bora, 24, was allegedly murdered by her mother, Indrani Mukerjea, in 2012. The shocking revelation came after the court received an email claiming that the bones were not missing but were with a forensic expert who examined them.

The special CBI judge, S P Naik Nimbalkar, informed the defense lawyers of the email, who then called for an investigation. The prosecution noted the skeleton parts were found during a further search of the office store. The court subsequently resumed the cross-examination of the forensic expert.
