Elderly Woman Found Murdered in Panchavati Home

An 80-year-old woman, identified as Kusum Suresh Ekbote, was found murdered at her home in the Panchavati area. The murder occurred while her daughter was at work. Police are investigating the case further.

An 80-year-old woman was discovered murdered at her residence in the Panchavati area on Wednesday, police revealed.

The victim, Kusum Suresh Ekbote, had been living in a rented flat at Radhanand Apartment, Gulmohar Colony, Mhasrul for the past three to four years.

According to an official, an unknown assailant slit her throat with a sickle on Wednesday morning when her daughter had gone out for work. Mhasrul police are currently conducting a thorough investigation.
