On Tuesday, the Delhi Police launched a handbook to aid hotel owners and lodging operators in navigating the licensing process, officials said.
The licensing unit of the Delhi police, responsible for licensing arms, explosives, hotels, restaurants, cinema halls, press, auditoriums, amusement parks, swimming pools, and performances, spearheaded this initiative.
Joint Commissioner of Police, Licensing Unit, B Shanker Jaiswal, mentioned that the Special Commissioner of Police, Licensing and Legal, had launched the handbook on Monday. Designed to assist hotel and lodging house operators in obtaining and maintaining licenses, the booklet aims to create awareness. By following the outlined guidelines, stakeholders will ensure regulatory compliance and enhance the overall quality and reputation of Delhi’s hospitality sector, contributing to the city's security.
