Prime Suspect Confesses in Murder of Former Bihar Minister's Father
Police have arrested the main suspect, Qazim Ansari, in the murder case of Jitan Sahni, father of VIP chief Mukesh Sahni. Ansari, detained along with three others, confessed to the crime, citing inability to repay a land loan. The incident has sparked widespread criticism of the law and order situation in Bihar.

Police on Wednesday announced a breakthrough in the murder case of former Bihar minister Mukesh Sahni's father, arresting the main suspect who confessed to his involvement.
Earlier, four individuals, including the prime suspect, were detained for interrogation over the killing of Jitan Sahni, father of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahni.
The accused, Qazim Ansari, admitted during questioning that he owed Rs 1.5 lakh to Sahni's father against a land deal. Unable to repay, Ansari and his associates demanded the land documents from Sahni, who refused, leading Ansari to stab him. Police have registered a case and are searching for Ansari's associates.
