The Delhi High Court on Thursday declared the DDA and its officials, including the vice chairman, guilty of willful and deliberate disobedience of judicial orders for failing to execute a conveyance deed for a woman's plot.

The court has ordered the DDA vice chairman and deputy director (land disposal) to appear in person on August 30.

'In view of the foregoing discussion, the DDA and its officials are guilty of willful disobedience of the court's directions and should be proceeded against under Sections 117 and 128 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971,' stated Justice Dharmesh Sharma.
