Two men were arrested on charges of brandishing a sword on the premises of a PM SHRI school in Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh, while threatening male students and passing lewd comments at female students, police reported on Friday.
The suspects, identified as Saurabh Shakya (18) and Suhail Khan (20), rode a motorcycle into the school in Shyampur, roughly 25 km from the district's main hub, on Wednesday. They made threats and lewd remarks before fleeing the scene, according to Sub Divisional Officer of Police Puja Sharma.
School officials lodged a complaint after reviewing CCTV footage, leading to the suspects' arrest on Thursday evening. The men have been charged under various legal provisions, including the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, POSCO Act, and Arms Act. A video of the episode has gone viral on social media.
