The sit-in began on Sunday, and violent clashes ensued, injuring scores of individuals, including 14 in Mastung and others in Turbat. Despite roadblocks, a large crowd gathered at Marine Drive for the 'Baloch Rajee Muchi', or Baloch National Gathering. Clashes occurred near checkposts, leading security forces to deploy tear gas and rubber bullets.

Authorities report roads and highways blocked, and a complete shutter-down strike observed in several cities. Amnesty International has urged Pakistani authorities to lift the internet shutdown and road blockades to facilitate peaceful protests.
