Tragic Bear Attack Claims Life in Jammu and Kashmir Forest
A 27-year-old man named Mohd Cheriya was killed by a black bear while grazing cattle in a Kishtwar forest in Jammu and Kashmir. The tragic incident occurred around 8 am. The bear fled after being chased by locals. Cheriya succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital.

A 27-year-old man, Mohd Cheriya, was killed by a black bear in a forest area in Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Tuesday, officials reported.
Cheriya, a resident of Saroor, was attacked by the bear at approximately 8 am while he was grazing his cattle. The bear retreated into the forest after being pursued by local residents who heard Cheriya's cries for help.
Sadly, Cheriya succumbed to his injuries before he could be transported to a hospital, officials confirmed.
