A 40-year-old man was brutally murdered by Naxalites in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district, officials confirmed.
The victim, Lalu Durva, a resident of Mirgudvancha in Bhamragad tehsil, was forced out of his home and killed by Naxalites on July 30.
A letter found beside his body accused him of being a police informer, prompting increased anti-Naxal operations by local police during Martyrs' Week.
