Security Forces Uncover Weapons Cache in Rajouri
Security forces have discovered a hidden cache of arms and explosives in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. The operation, conducted by police, Rashtriya Rifles, BSF, and CRPF, resulted in the recovery of various weapons and ammunition from a terrorist hideout in Gulabgarh, Kalakote. The raid followed intelligence on suspicious movement.

A joint operation by security forces in Rajouri district has led to the seizure of a significant consignment of arms and explosives from a cave-type terrorist hideout. Officials reported the discovery was made during a cordon and search operation involving the police, Rashtriya Rifles, BSF, and CRPF personnel in the forested area of Gulabgarh in Kalakote.
The operation commenced late Wednesday night after intelligence reports indicated suspicious activity in the area. The security teams worked through the night to secure the site and uncover the hidden weapons.
Recovered items included an AK assault rifle, two magazines, a pistol with two magazines, two hand grenades, three explosive packets, around 100 rounds of assorted ammunition, and other items such as eatables, a rucksack, and cigarette packets.
