Delhi Police received a report of kanwariyas blocking a road near Rajouri Garden after their vehicle was damaged, officials confirmed on Thursday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Vichitra Veer stated that an alert was received about a viral video showing kanwariyas jamming the road near a metro station. Local police promptly responded and discovered damage to the vehicle's wheel, which was subsequently repaired.

Veer assured that the kanwar itself suffered no damage and an investigation has been launched. Despite a circulating video linking the incident to a damaged car, no such vehicle was found at the scene, and no reports were made about the car in question.
