Ukraine's Drone Strikes Ignite Fire at Russian Fuel Depots

A fire at a fuel storage depot in the Kamensky district of Russia's Rostov region, caused by a Ukrainian drone attack, has been extinguished, according to the head of the district administration on Saturday.

No injuries were reported from the attack. Regional governor confirmed that 55 Ukrainian drones had assaulted the region overnight. A state of emergency has been declared in the Morozovsky district, also within Rostov, where schools, kindergartens, residential buildings, and production facilities sustained damage.

Ukraine-launched drones also attacked an oil storage depot in Russia’s Belgorod region, which was quickly contained, with no injuries reported. Ukraine’s military reported it had targeted Russia's Morozovsk airfield and several oil depots across three Russian regions overnight. This marks a significant increase in Ukraine’s use of long-range drones to disrupt Russian oil facilities, aiming to weaken sites supporting Russian forces and the nation's economy.
